Some offerings have minimums and some don't. If you had set a minimum investment amount for each investor, investors will not be able to proceed below the set amount.
There are two types of minimum, a soft minimum and a hard minimum. A soft minimum allows the issuer to accept investments under this set amount, while a hard minimum mandates the set amount to be met in order to proceed.
If you have set a soft minimum amount and you wish to allow an investor to proceed without meeting the minimum, you can override it by allocating a lower amount for the investor on the portal.
Select the specific investor profile and click on “Change” under Allocation on the left hand side. Please ensure that this is complete before the investor has funded the investment.
Add an allocation by purchase amount or by the number of securities. Enter the amount and click on “Save”.
Once that is completed, the new allocation will automatically be updated in the portal and the investor would be able to proceed accordingly.
