Part of the onboarding process for DealMaker Shareholder Services is to consolidate and transfer your shareholder registers (whether they are managed internally or by another transfer agent) to DealMaker Shareholder Services.
In order for you to do so, your team will need to complete the following steps:
- Terminate your relationship with your previous transfer agent (if applicable)
- Appoint DealMaker Transfer Agent as your new transfer agent on record
- Provide DealMaker Transfer Agent with a copy of your shareholder register. Please provide this register within the format linked here.
Once we have received a copy of the register with all the data correctly formatted and cleaned, our internal team will upload the historical shareholder register onto our system and begin managing the register on your behalf!
We will then send out a communication to your shareholders informing them of the change and providing them with resources on how they can communicate with DealMaker Shareholder Services.
You will also want to update all locations listing your previous transfer agent contact information. You may provide the contact information for DealMaker Shareholder Services (below) who will now handle transfer agent related shareholder requests.
