Add members
There are three ways to Add Members:
- Email and name

- Magic link
Email and name
Optionally, you can send invitees an email notification.

Click Add member via CSV, download our .csv bulk upload template, and upload the template when it's completed.
Optionally, you can send each invitee an email notification. Click Edit Email Notification to customize the email.
Create and share an invitation link
Creating and sharing an invitation link lets Members add themselves, and lets you tag invitees as they click your link and create their own account to follow you.
Who are your company's members?
Your company's Engage frontend has 3 kinds audience members, based on whether they have a DealMaker account, and whether they are your accepted investors:
Shareholders
A Shareholder is one of your accepted investors. They used their DealMaker account to go through your sales funnel. Shareholders will get your notifications on their DealMaker Dashboard, or optionally by email.
Followers
Followers are created in a few ways:
- They may have started a deal question flow
- They may have been added to your engage member list by an admin
- They followed your engage portal via a public link.
Followers will get your notifications on their DealMaker Dashboard, or optionally by email.
Visitors
Visitors are not yet one of your Followers or Shareholders. They are any user on the open internet accessing your Engage page, so Visitors do not get any Engage-related notifications or emails of yours until they become Followers or Shareholders.

Tag Members
Members can have multiple tags. You can apply tags in three ways:
- Invite future Members with a tagged link
- Manually tag Followers and Shareholders
- Select and tag multiple Followers and Shareholders
Invite future Members with a tagged link
On your Members table, click Add Member, then click Add member via link. Members who accept your invitation and create an account will become your Followers.
Manually tag Followers and Shareholders
On your Members table, click on a Follower or Shareholder to open their details page.

Removing members
To remove members, select multiple Members on your table, click Actions, then click Remove.
Exporting Member info
Export member info into a spreadsheet, according to your Member Table's column view. See below for customizing your Member Table's columns.
Full table export
Exporting a Full table shows all your members and their data according to your Member Table's view.
Filtered table export
Exporting a Filtered table shows your selected members and their data according to your Member Table's view.
Editing the columns on your Members view
Click the table's ellipses button to organize your list of Members.
Add, remove, or arrange your Member table columns.
